Brief

Before starting any development we carry out up front planning.  To start the process we ask for a website brief.   The brief, once approved, is fleshed out and turned into a website specification, the blueprint for functionality, layout and ultimately the programming of your website.  It is important the brief is written by yourselves, however rest assured we can help you! The website specification will be written by ourselves and of course both documents will be approved by you.

The brief comprises of:

Website strategy

Marketing goals
Competitive analysis
User requirements
Branding strategy
Metrics – what does success look like?

Functionality requirements

Who is the audience?
What are their characteristics?
What “story” should the site tell?
